It has been suggested to me in the past to do it, and I have put it off every time. Since I have been in the process of gathering pictures and documents to update my website, I decided to go ahead and begin the madness. I've started my "SCA Resume."
For those not familiar with this document, it is similar to what the name implies. It is a listing of achievements within the society. I think the Latin term "curriculum vitae" better describes it, "brief account of one's life and work." This is where you get to mention all of the awards you've won and offices you've held and projects you've made, etc., etc., etc. This is a difficult feat for me, since I am not one who wishes to speak of one's self too often. But on the other hand, I considered the possible consequences of not doing it now. I could look up five years from now, need it completed for one reason or another, and not be able to put it together because I've forgotten half the things I've done! So I suppose I might as well be ahead of the game. If you wish to take a look at the current progress, you can find it under the new side link "Vitae." Or for lazy folk, like myself, just go here: http://yamamura.weebly.com/236532750826360-vitae.html

Mundania recently took over my life, preventing some updates from being posted regarding progress on projects. I will be working on playing catch up over the next week or so to get photos and blogs up to date. In the meantime, I have added two new images of scrolls to the photo album. Enjoy! |
